Nomenclatural History
|
The family Desulfuromonadaceae was originally proposed by Kuever et al. 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 107 in 2006. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Desulfuromonaceae (sic) to Desulfuromonadaceae . Greene et al. published an emended description of this family in 2009. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Waite et al. in 2020.
