Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Archangium was originally proposed by Jahn 1924. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. McCurdy published an emended description of this genus in 1974. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Lang et al. in 2015 and Awal et al. in 2017.
