Nomenclatural History	The species Campylobacter curvus was originally described and validly published by Vandamme et al. 1991. Vandamme et al. formed this name in 1991 by placing the species Wolinella curva Tanner et al. 1984 into the genus Campylobacter Sebald and Véron 1963 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Vandamme et al. 2010.
