Nomenclatural History
The species Arcobacter cryaerophilus was originally described and validly published by Vandamme et al. 1991. Vandamme et al. formed this name in 1991 by placing the species corrig. Neill et al. 1985 emend. Kiehlbauch et al. 1991 into the genus Vandamme et al. 1991 emend. Pérez-Cataluña et al. 2018. In 2018, Pérez-Cataluña et al. established as the basonym of (Neill et al. 1985) Pérez-Cataluña et al. 2020 .
