Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Dehalospirillum was originally proposed by Scholz-Muramatsu et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 88 in 2002. Luijten et al. transferred the members of this genus into
Sulfurospirillum Schumacher et al. 1993 emend. Luijten et al. 2003
in 2003.
