Nomenclatural History
The species Acetivibrio cellulolyticus was originally described and validly published by Patel et al. 1980. Murray established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Khan et al. 1984 in 1986. In 2018, Zhang et al. established as the basonym of (Patel et al. 1980) Zhang et al. 2018 .
