Nomenclatural History
The species Peptostreptococcus heliotrinreducens was originally described and validly published by Ezaki and Yabuuchi 1986. Ezaki and Yabuuchi formed this name in 1986 by placing the species corrig. Lanigan 1983 into the genus Kluyver and van Niel 1936 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Ezaki et al. 2001. In 1999, Wade et al. established as the basonym of (Lanigan 1983) Wade et al. 1999 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 .
