Nomenclatural History	The species Peptostreptococcus lactolyticus was originally described and validly published by Li et al. 1992. In 2001, Ezaki et al. established Peptostreptococcus lactolyticus as the basonym of Anaerococcus lactolyticus (Li et al. 1992) Ezaki et al. 2001 .
