The species Eubacterium acidaminophilum was originally described by Zindel et al. 1988. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 28 in 1989. In 2016, Galperin et al. established as the basonym of (Zindel et al. 1989) Galperin et al. 2016 .
