Nomenclatural History
The species Eubacterium barkeri was originally described and validly published by Collins et al. 1994. Collins et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Stadtman et al. 1972 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Prévot 1938 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Cato et al. 1981.
