Nomenclatural History	The species Anaeroarcus burkinensis was originally described and validly published by Strömpl et al. 1999. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Anaeroarcus burkinabensis (sic) to Anaeroarcus burkinensis . Strömpl et al. formed this name in 1999 by placing the species Anaerovibrio burkinabensis Ouattara et al. 1992 into the genus Anaeroarcus Strömpl et al. 1999.
