Nomenclatural History
The species Selenomonas acidaminovorans was originally described by Guangsheng et al. 1992. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 61 in 1997. In 1999, Baena et al. established as the basonym of (Guangsheng et al. 1997) Baena et al. 1999 emend. Palaniappan et al. 2013 .
