Nomenclatural History	The species Thermoanaerobacter thermohydrosulfuricus was originally described and validly published by Lee et al. 1993. Lee et al. formed this name in 1993 by placing the species Clostridium thermohydrosulfuricum Klaushofer and Parkkinen 1965 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Thermoanaerobacter Wiegel and Ljungdahl 1982 emend. Lee et al. 2007.
