Nomenclatural History
The species Thermoanaerobium brockii was originally described by Zeikus et al. 1979. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 11 in 1983. In 1993, Lee et al. established as the basonym of (Zeikus et al. 1983) Lee et al. 1993 emend. Cayol et al. 1995 .
