Nomenclatural History
|
The species Bacillus mojavensis was originally described and validly published by Roberts et al. 1994. Wang et al. published an emended description of this species in 2007.
Dunlap et al. 2016 asserts that Bacillus malacitensis, and Bacillus axarquiensis are not heterotypic synonyms of Bacillus mojavensis. This opinion disagrees with that of Wang et al. 2007.
