Nomenclatural History	The species Bacillus mucilaginosus was originally described by Avakyan et al. 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 66 in 1998. Shelobolina et al. published an emended description of this species in 1997. In 2010, Hu et al. established Bacillus mucilaginosus as the basonym of Paenibacillus mucilaginosus (Avakyan et al. 1998) Hu et al. 2010 .
