Nomenclatural History
The species Bacillus oleronius was originally described by Kuhnigk et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 57 in 1996. Heyndrickx et al. published an emended description of this species in 2012. In 2020, Gupta et al. established as the basonym of (Kuhnigk et al. 1996) Gupta et al. 2020 .
