Nomenclatural History	The species Bacillus pabuli was originally described by Schieblich 1923. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1984 the name was revived and validly published by Nakamura. In 1993, Ash et al. established Bacillus pabuli as the basonym of Paenibacillus pabuli (Nakamura 1984) Ash et al. 1994 .
