Nomenclatural History
The species Bacillus thermocatenulatus was originally described by Golovacheva et al. 1975. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 36 in 1991. In 2001, Nazina et al. established as the basonym of (Golovacheva et al. 1991) Nazina et al. 2001 emend. Dinsdale et al. 2011 .
