The species Bacillus thermoglucosidasius was originally described by Suzuki et al. 1983. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 14 in 1984. In 2001, Nazina et al. established as the basonym of (sic) (Suzuki et al. 1984) Nazina et al. 2001 emend. Coorevits et al. 2012 .
