Nomenclatural History
The species Salibacillus marismortui was originally described and validly published by Arahal et al. 2000. Arahal et al. formed this name in 2000 by placing the species Arahal et al. 1999 into the genus Heyndrickx et al. 1998 emend. Heyrman et al. 2003. In 2003, Heyrman et al. established as the basonym of (Arahal et al. 1999) Heyrman et al. 2003 .
