Nomenclatural History
The species Alicyclobacillus acidoterrestris was originally described and validly published by Wisotzkey et al. 1992. Wisotzkey et al. formed this name in 1992 by placing the species Deinhard et al. 1988 into the genus Wisotzkey et al. 1992 emend. Karavaiko et al. 2005.
