Nomenclatural History	The species Paenibacillus alginolyticus was originally described and validly published by Shida et al. 1997. Shida et al. formed this name in 1997 by placing the species Bacillus alginolyticus Nakamura 1987 into the genus Paenibacillus Ash et al. 1994 emend. Huang et al. 2017.
