Nomenclatural History
|
The subspecies Paenibacillus larvae larvae was originally described by Ash et al. 1993. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 51 in 1994. In 1996, Heyndrickx et al. reduced
Paenibacillus larvae (White 1906) Ash et al. 1994 emend. Genersch et al. 2006
to the rank of subspecies.
