Nomenclatural History	The species Paenibacillus lautus was originally described and validly published by Heyndrickx et al. 1996. Heyndrickx et al. formed this name in 1996 by placing the species Bacillus lautus (ex Batchelor 1919) Nakamura 1984 into the genus Paenibacillus Ash et al. 1994 emend. Huang et al. 2017.
