Nomenclatural History
The species Aneurinibacillus thermoaerophilus was originally described and validly published by Heyndrickx et al. 1997. Heyndrickx et al. formed this name in 1997 by placing the species Meier-Stauffer et al. 1996 into the genus Shida et al. 1996 emend. Lee et al. 2014.
