Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Thermoactinomyces was originally proposed by Tsilinsky 1899. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Küster published an emended description of this genus in 1974. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Yoon et al. in 2005 and Mutschlechner et al. in 2021.
