Nomenclatural History
The species Thermoactinomyces candidus was originally described by Kurup et al. 1975. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Yoon et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Tsilinsky 1899 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Jiang et al. 2019 in 2000.
