Nomenclatural History	The species Thermoactinomyces peptonophilus was originally described by Nonomura and Ohara 1971. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 2005, Yoon et al. established Thermoactinomyces peptonophilus as the basonym of Seinonella peptonophila (Nonomura and Ohara 1971) Yoon et al. 2005 .
