Nomenclatural History
|
The species Lactobacillus carnis was originally described by Shaw and Harding 1985. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 20 in 1986. Collins et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Lactobacillus piscicola Hiu et al. 1984
in 1987.
