Nomenclatural History
The species Abiotrophia adiacens was originally described and validly published by Kawamura et al. 1995. Kawamura et al. formed this name in 1995 by placing the species Bouvet et al. 1989 into the genus Kawamura et al. 1995. In 2000, Collins and Lawson established as the basonym of (Bouvet et al. 1989) Collins and Lawson 2000 .
