Nomenclatural History
The species Lactosphaera pasteurii was originally described and validly published by Janssen et al. 1995. Janssen et al. formed this name in 1995 by placing the species Schink 1985 into the genus Scheff et al. 1984 emend. Liu et al. 2002. In 2002, Liu et al. established as the basonym of (Schink 1985) Liu et al. 2002 .
