Nomenclatural History

The species Streptococcus lutetiensis was originally described and validly published by Poyart et al. 2002. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Poyart et al. elevated the subspecies
Streptococcus infantarius coli Schlegel et al. 2003 emend. Beck et al. 2008
to the rank of species to form this name in 2002.
Illegitimate based on violation of Rule 50a.
