Nomenclatural History
|
The species Streptococcus shiloi was originally described by Eldar et al. 1994. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 52 in 1995. Eldar et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Streptococcus iniae Pier and Madin 1976 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 1995.
