Nomenclatural History
The species Actinomyces pyogenes was originally described and validly published by Reddy et al. 1982. Reddy et al. formed this name in 1982 by placing the species (Glage 1903) Eberson 1918 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Harz 1877 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018. In 1997, Pascual Ramos et al. established as the basonym of (Glage 1903) Pascual Ramos et al. 1997 .
