Nomenclatural History
The species Actinomyces suis was originally described and validly published by Ludwig et al. 1992. Ludwig et al. formed this name in 1992 by placing the species (ex Soltys and Spratling 1957) Wegienek and Reddy 1982 into the genus Harz 1877 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018. In 1997, Lawson et al. established as the basonym of (Wegienek and Reddy 1982) Lawson et al. 1997 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 .
