The genus Yania was originally proposed and validly published by Li et al. 2004. Li et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2005. Li et al. replaced this illegitimate name with
Yaniella (Li et al. 2004) Li et al. 2008
in 2008.
This name is illegitimate, replaced by Yaniella Li et al. 2008.
