The species Yania halotolerans was originally described and validly published by Li et al. 2004. Li et al. replaced this illegitimate name with
Yaniella halotolerans (Li et al. 2004) Li et al. 2008 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2008.
The genus name is illegitimate, therefore this species name is illegitimate.
