Nomenclatural History
|
The family Sanguibacteraceae was originally proposed and validly published by Stackebrandt and Schumann 2000. Zhi et al. published an emended description of this family in 2009. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Pikuta et al. in 2017. Nouioui et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Jonesiaceae Stackebrandt et al. 1997 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2018.
