Nomenclatural History
The species Cellulomonas turbata was originally described by Stackebrandt et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 10 in 1983. Stackebrandt et al. formed this name in 1982 by placing the species (Erikson 1954) Prauser et al. 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 into the genus Bergey et al. 1923 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Stackebrandt et al. 1982.
