Nomenclatural History
|
The family Jonesiaceae was originally proposed and validly published by Stackebrandt et al. 1997. Zhi et al. published an emended description of this family in 2009. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Nouioui et al. in 2018. Nouioui et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Sanguibacteraceae Stackebrandt and Schumann 2000 emend. Pikuta et al. 2017
in 2018.
