Nomenclatural History
The species Microbacterium resistens was originally described and validly published by Behrendt et al. 2001. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Behrendt et al. formed this name in 2001 by placing the species Funke et al. 1998 into the genus Orla-Jensen 1919 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Fidalgo et al. 2016.
