Nomenclatural History	The species Microbacterium testaceum was originally described and validly published by Takeuchi and Hatano 1998. Takeuchi and Hatano formed this name in 1998 by placing the species Aureobacterium testaceum (Komagata and Iizuka 1964) Collins et al. 1983 into the genus Microbacterium Orla-Jensen 1919 (Approved Lists 1980) emend.
