Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Agromyces fucosus hippuratus was originally described and validly published by Zgurskaya et al. 1992. Ortiz-Martinez et al. elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name Agromyces hippuratus (Zgurskaya et al. 1992) Ortiz-Martinez et al. 2004 in 2004.
