Nomenclatural History	The species Rathayibacter iranicus was originally described and validly published by Zgurskaya et al. 1993. Zgurskaya et al. formed this name in 1993 by placing the species Clavibacter iranicus corrig. (Carlson and Vidaver 1982) Davis et al. 1984 into the genus Rathayibacter Zgurskaya et al. 1993.
