Nomenclatural History
The family Promicromonosporaceae was originally proposed by 1997. This name was validly published by Stackebrandt et al. 1997. Zhi et al. published an emended description of this family in 2009. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Nouioui et al. in 2018 and Salam et al. in 2020. This name replaces the name None 2015 . Salam et al. transferred the members of Stackebrandt and Schumann 2000 emend. Zhi et al. 2009 into this family in 2020.
