Nomenclatural History
The species Corynebacterium aurimucosum was originally described and validly published by Yassin et al. 2002. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Daneshvar et al. published an emended description of this species in 2004. Daneshvar et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Shukla et al. 2004 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2004.
