Nomenclatural History
The species Corynebacterium glucuronolyticum was originally described by Funke et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 55 in 1995. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Devriese et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Riegel et al. 1996 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2000.
