Nomenclatural History
The species Corynebacterium lilium was originally described by Lee and Good 1963. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Liebl et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Kinoshita et al. 1958) Abe et al. 1967 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 1991.
