Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Corynebacterium michiganense tessellarius was originally described and validly published by Carlson and Vidaver 1982. In 1984, Davis et al. established Corynebacterium michiganense tessellarius as the basonym of Clavibacter michiganensis tessellarius corrig. (Carlson and Vidaver 1982) Davis et al. 1984 .
